Open the script recorded in IE.
Go to Automation--> Record and Run settings.
Select open the following address when a record or run session begins.
under that select Firefox 2.0 in open the following browser when a run session begins.
Click ok then save and run .The script opens in Firefox browser.

I think IE6 QTP can work well on it, however QTP not work well with IE7.
- all of you can record from IE6 and then move that script to FF2.xx, it will work well too
- some problem, I think everyone to knew. QTP not support for FF3.xx and Ajax too.

in the start menu select programs --> select QTP --> select Tools --> selct browser settings
in the browser settings add the mozilla as new browser.

after this you will get encrypted password in your script.
