Open source web application for QTP

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and for QTP.

I would like to learn QTP, I am having QTP with demo license. I would like to install a web application (open source , downloadable) and learn QTP by automating the web application.

Can anybody recommend any such software? It should be somewhat complex to automate.

Install a web application? You mean you want to host a web application on your local server? That is not required to learn qtp... simply use the demo flight app that comes pre installed with QTP.

Thanks Ankur. But

a. I need web based application, the demo flight application is windows one.
b. Another sample application (URL :newtours.mercuryinteractive.com) requires internet connection, which I cannot afford in that machine.

Please suggest a open source web application.

Hi Gokul,
There is a demo Web Application available along with QTP(Mercury Tours).
Make sure Web Server is installed in your PC.
That's the best option for you.
