Not able to record on WebTable.

Hi All,

I am working with a Web application. I am trying to select a particular record from a web table. But QTP is not recording. When I spy, QTP is identifying each individual cells as web element. Please let me know if there is any method to search for a particular record(row) and select the same.

You can use "GetRowWithCellText" to find out row with specified text

The problem here is, QTP is not identifying the webtable. When we spy, qtp recognizes each cell as web element. But it is not identifying webtable.

Hi I was able to add Webtable to Object Repository. I have provided the steps which I followed:

Click Add Objects in Object repository
Click on the WebElement and then navigate up the hierarchy and select the WebTable and Ok. (Refer attachment)

This adds Webtable to the OR so now I am able to use web methods for the required validation.
