Hi,
I use a Vista machine and have IE 7 browser.
I tried installing QTP 9.2 and the following error pops up during installation(registering modules...).
error 1904 c:\program files\Mercury Interactive\Quick Test Professional\bin\WWWPackage.dll failed to register.
HRESULT-2147024769
I tried manually installing the WWWPackage.dll using the following command: Regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Mercury Interactive\QuickTest Professional\bin\WWWPackage.dll"
I ignored the error and continued with the installation.Once the installation was completed, QTP was not able to identify Web objects. All objects are considered as window objects.
To overcome this I opened QTP in "Run as Administrator mode", Opened QTP and then opened the browser and vice versa, Disabled "User Access Controls", Uninstalled,Cleaned all keys with QTP Clean Uninstaller and Installed again.
The same error exists.
Anyone has a solution???
