Does anyone know if there is a maximum number of controls that qtp can recognize on a form? If we try to navigate and learn the whole screen of our AUT then qtp encounters a problem while learning and closes. If we try to just record on the screen qtp locks up and then crashes with the same error. This seems to only happen on forms with over 80 vb controls. We are on qtp 10.0 and it also happened on 9.5. Thanks for the help.

It might have to do with ActiveX addin. Check the post on ActiveX and QTP
