Logical and physical name of object

Suppose in the Google browser the browser name is coming "Google". And in description properties the name or the title of the browser is coming as "Google". And if we modify the description properties then it will not be identified by QTP.
I want to confirm which one is the physical name and which one is the Logical name?

Hi,

Physical Name : This is the name or title of the object displayed and assigned while developing the app. Any change to the physical name, then the object will not identify.
Logical Name : This is the user defined name, where the automation engineer will specify the name for the object. If you are using OR then the object will identify even we change the object logical name, as it will automatically update in the scripts.

I am changing the logical name not the physical name. Still i get run time error
that object properties do not match or found.
