Issues with Vista OS:
Details:
QTP: 9.1 version and OS:Vista-Service Pack1(IE7)
Not able to record the Oralce Apps.11i(Oralce Forms).
1.User Acess Control is turned off and ”BHO Manager Class” is Enabled
2. Able to record web objects..only the issue is with Oracle Forms.
3. Selected add-ins:"oralce add-in 8.2" and "Web"
Any inputs please?

I think Java is causing the issue, Can you please check if you have Java 6 installed and Oracle forms are not getting loaded using Java.
If so can you try installing Java 5 and try. As per my knowledge Oracle Addins 8.2 does suppors java 6 or higher.

Thanks for your reply..However to test Oracle applications, Java addin is not essential. Please find the below from QTP professional help..
<"You use the Add-in Manager to load support for testing Oracle applications.
Note: For optimal performance when testing Oracle applications, it is strongly recommended that you work with only the Oracle Add-in and Web Add-in loaded">

Hi Natra,
what I have specified is not Java Add in, AS per my knowledge I think Oracle forms are using either Jinitiater or Java to load. so if you Orcale forms are using Java to load and you hav java 6 installed then it will cause an issue.
