Invoke QTP using Excel

Hi All,

1) Can QTP be launched from Excel Sheet.
2) does it support legacy lanuages like Cobol, Candi and Delphi 1.0

I am not sure one can launch QTP from excel.
May I know why? Is there any particular reason?

we know that we can launch qtp from a vbs file (AOM).
i am just checking for other available options to launch qtp.

I think this is possible.

Yah we can launch qtp from quality center.?
I think we can save our AOM script in the quality center and click run may open qtp.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

yes, and also you can schedule it and QC will open QTP and run your script at a specified time

I think we can invoke qtp from excel with the help of macros.

we can write AOM scripts in to the macros.

In excel - Tools - Macro - Visual Basic editor or Microsoft script editor - finally run the macro.

I have not yet tried this. I will let you know if i get expected results.
