I have total 2.6 yrs of experience in IT in development.
Now I have joined the new company recently as a senior test engineer.....n here they work mainly on QTP.I know the basics of QTP but dont know how to actually use QTP it in live project.
Can you please explain what are the steps that are followed
1)During the process of testing the application using QTP like regarding automation framework,environment files,library files...how to load them into QTP
2)procedure for doing regression testing using scripts.
3) I am confused about how to make scripts when the development has just started and we don know the interface(do we have to prepare the scripts manually using descriptive programming or vbscript)
4)when to use desciptive programming,vbscripting ,functions and actions,
