How to move it all to a new drive/directory?
#1
Not Solved
We are going to Visual Source Safe.

I need to move all my tests to a new drive and path.

There are many tests with many external action calls.

When I copy everything to the new directory, all the external action calls still use the old path.

Is there an intelligent way to tell QTP to fix all the calls, or make the directory move while updating all the action calls?

Yes, I know in theory you click on Missing Action in the Resources pane fix the path for each action call, one by one by one. I have many, many, many problems with that. (If it worked, I would have to make 1,000 changes by hand. And it does not work for about 5 different reasons.)

There has got to be a way to just move to a new directory without breaking everything....right?

I can use QTP11 or UFT12.53.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Mark
