Error with QTP DataSheet Values.
#1
Not Solved
Hi,

I am getting an error with the Amount value entered on the screen.

When the script is executed with QTP when the 'Add' button is clicked after entering all the relevant values on the screen. The error is seen as 'Invalid Amount" when the 'Add' button clicked. By default, the Amount is seen as $0.00 and takes the number value from QTP and adds $ sign automatically before the number.

However, when the 'Add' button is clicked manually, the Amount value is accepted on the screen without the error as Invalid amount.

Please clarify if the numbers in datasheet are to be formatted in a particular way for the numbers to be accepted through QTP.

Thanks,
Shilpa R.

Try use numbers only in the amount field while running QTP because the field is automatically inserting dollar symbol the datatable cell which amount field is present should be formatted for numbers only and try again
