Error While Executing Qtp

Qtp has been installed on my pc but recently ON opening it is
giving this error PLEASE REPLY IT IS URGENT IT WAS WORKKING FINE QTPRO.EX THE instruction at "0x7.. ...". referenced memory at "0000....The memory could not be read... Awaiting QTP XPERTS REPLY 
Are you trying to launch QTP from QC? If yes, install the QC connectivity add-in. (you can get the link for add-in from your QC home page)
Also verify in QTP that in Tools > Options > Run tab QTP is set "Allow other Mercury products to run..."

I would like to set this option through a VBS script, but have not found a method for doing so. I've looked at qtapp.options.run but do not see that option.
