I Need some information regarding automating PowerBuilder application Using QTP Tool.
We have a huge regression test for Telco Billing application developed on PowerBuilder Technology, test suite automated using WinRunner tool for almost 7 years and we have so many scripts. As you aware the tool life is ended and unfortunatelu our PB also upgraded to PB 11.5 Version.
I googled and found that there are 2 possible solutions.
1. Third party migration tools, which migrate Scripts from TSL to VB.
2. Developing new scripts in QTP from scratch
I guess Option 1 is Very Expensive compared to the man work efforts used in Option 2.
So, Do You have any idea, which version of QTP supports PB 11.5 and what additional taks need to be done apart from normal installation and PB Addin . Actually i need the exact infirmation as I have to provide this to our client who contacts HP Team and take care of Installation and everything.
