Hi All,
I am observing application crash issue while trying to identify dev express objects through object spy in UFT. Please let me know if we have any solution to automate Dev Express (ver. 15.2) object using UFT or any other automation tool.
Please refer below error log details:
Type : System.InvalidCastException, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089
Message : Unable to cast object of type 'DevExpress.Xpf.Docking.DocumentGroup' to type 'System.Windows.Controls.ItemsControl'.

Below is the feedback for basic questionnaires
• What is the Application Under Test (AUT)? (Web or Application) ? – Desktop Application
• What is the version and patch of UFT? – 14.00.1775.0
• What are the technologies involved in the application - .NET 4.5.2, Dev Express 15.2, WPF 4.0.0.0
• What Add-ins are loaded? - .NET, ActiveX, JAVA, Visual Basic, Web and WPF
• Is it the first time issue is happening? – NA – We are conducting automation feasibility study using UFT. Application was not automated previously.
• What are the exact steps in order to reproduce the issue on our side? – Select any object using Object Spy
• What type of test are you running? GUI or API - GUI
• Is the issue happening on all test cases or just specific test? – Issues is observed for all objects
• Is this problem happening on a single or multiple machine? – multiple machine
