Configuring quality center to work with QTP

How do we generate vb script for a test case that is in quality center? If we are using QC in a manual testing process then we normally have design steps which represent test script, we execute test case manully and then log the result on to qc. In manual process we have set of test cases where we are verifying same functionality of application with different data values then we execute test case as many times as number of different data values. I know in qtp we use data driven test in such scenarios but I lack understanding how do we log results in QC in such a case while using QC for monitoring test process. Please someone enlighten me about this issue.
