Hello!
I would highly appreciate if someone could tell me what are the major differences between the QTP and TestDirector applications. I have gone through some different informations available on both of these applications, but still not very sure about the differences between them. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Naresh,
Broadly speaking QTP is a test automation tool, whereas Test Director is a Documentation tool.
A documentation tool is used to track the progress of project.
Hope u can differentiate them now.
Happy testing!

Only one test case is executed at a time in Manual testing, here Automation tool can be used to run all the test cases in one shot.
QTP is a test automation tool where you can automate all your test cases and run at a time.
Test director is basically test management tool where you can prepare test planning, test case design, test execution details like wethere it is failed or passed as per the requirements.
