Capture components from an external application

This forum is wonderful.

i have an application that has a field which contains a call to another application. I need to know if is possible with QTP to capture the external elements of this field, like a button, a list, …

This field is like a external and dinamic form who is invoked for my application and it belongs to another application. I can't capture its components with QTP.

Is it possible to do?
