Hi Everyone,

Can user defined functions be written in .txt extension. If so how to associate it to a paticular test script and what is difference between .txt file, .vbs file and .qfl file.

In General we use .vbs and .qfl extension files in qtp.

Thanks

Noman

Yes. You will have to go to the test settings to associate it. The extensions are an ease of feasibility for the user. qfl is quicktest function library and is custom created using QTP.
.Vbs is vbscript compliant.
