Can I use Descriptive Programming on Checkpoint?

I find Descriptive Programming to be so much powerful!

I hate recording and OD as it has way too much dependecies.

I dont those increment number things too like ".Page_2" ".Page_3" thing! Why does it keep incrementing ???

My question now is if I get to Checkpoint, do I still need to do recording on it?

Can give me an example using descriptive programming on Checkpoint?
