Say no to piracySince the time we started this blog and forums, we have received enquiries from people asking for a crack or a pirated version of QTP/UFT. Our stance has always been that we don’t allow discussion on our blogs or forums for anything related to crack/pirated/nulled version of any software.

Even after our multiple requests to readers to not do so, we still get a 4-5 emails every week where some people would brazenly ask on how to get pirated software while others more subtly. Our network of sites has been a target of hackers in the past. We have been using the excellent services from the team at Sucuri who not only keep our sites safe by checking them on a daily basis but also come up with fresh new insights on their blog to help the industry in general.

Using a pirated version of a software is not only unethical and illegal, it may lead to disastrous and unexpected situations.

Recently Sucuri has come up with a great post on why you should NEVER try to install pirated software. Here is an excerpt:

Getting something valuable for free may sound great, however, in most cases, you won’t get what you expect. After all, you should ask yourself the question, why would someone spend their time to steal software, and then post it to various sites and forums where they can’t even count on any advertising revenue? Usually, the answer is that they expect to take advantage of the sites that install the software they post. How? By adding some undisclosed functionality to the stolen plugins like backdoors, ads, hidden links, and SPAM.

I suggest you to take some time, and go read this article in full.
