How can i start with qtp9.0

hi,
i am working as manul testing engineer(website testing).now am in new project , here i want to do the functional testing with qtp. can i perform perfomance testing using qtp. am totaly new to qtp. could you please help me to get a start with qtp.
new pjct in flash action script, and using xml(it is web application.)

Hi lintothamby,

QTP is a Functional Test Automation Tool. We cant do a performance testing here.For that we have Loadrunner by HP/Mercury and RPT by Rational.
Now, I dont think QTP 9.2 supports Flash and Flex applications. Sorry. But Rational Functional Tester does support Flash and Flex Applications.
So final question,If u wanna know all about qtp you can use the demp application provided and try n record and script them.next you can login to Yahoo page or someother web application and work on it....Once you install the qtp you will get a 1000+ page doc. you can go thru it for all theorretic knowledge

Correction: QTP9.x does support Flash application. You can read more about it on flash with qtp
